Sintered AlNiCo

Small size, tight blank dimensional tolerance, slightly lower magnetic properties than cast AlNiCo, good machinability

Cast AlNiCo

Can be made into various sizes and shapes, lowest reversible temperature coefficient, operating temperature over 600℃

Key Features & Advantages

Alnico magnets have high magnetic strength and energy but low coercivity. They are less brittle than rare-earth magnets, with excellent corrosion resistance and temperature stability, and can work at very high temperatures. Made by casting or sintering, they can be made into complex shapes (such as horseshoe) that other magnets cannot.

Customization

Grade 5 and Grade 8 are the most common alnico grades. We can customize almost any shape and size according to your drawings from sintered or cast materials. Contact us for a quote and we will provide the most cost-effective solution.

Processing Notes

Alnico magnets are hard and brittle, easy to crack. They need careful processing and are not suitable for structural or decorative use. Regular machining is not applicable; cutting and grinding must be done before magnetization, and holes need EDM. We can process them as your drawings require.

Surface Treatment

Alnico magnets usually need no coating or plating due to good corrosion resistance.
