Applications Alnico magnets are widely used in instruments, aerospace, automotive electronics, acoustic components, sensors and high-temperature equipment where stable magnetic properties under high temperature are required.  

Cast & sintered Alnico magnets are produced through melting, casting or compacting, high-temperature sintering, heat treatment and precision machining.With ultra-high temperature stability, excellent corrosion resistance and good machinability, they are suitable for long-term use in high-temperature and harsh environments.

 

1.Processing Adaptability

Alnico magnets are hard and brittle. They are only suitable for processing by grinding and EDM/wire-cutting; conventional turning, milling, and tapping are not applicable.

 

2.Processing Equipment & Capability

We are equipped with grinding machines, lathes, milling machines, drilling machines and EDM, supporting small-batch trial production and mass production.

 

-Mechanical Processing

Grinding, cutting and surface finishing to achieve tight dimensional tolerances and excellent flatness.

-EDM & Special Profile Processing

Suitable for complex precision parts with low stress.

-Drilling & Special Shaping

Dedicated diamond tools and custom fixtures are used for drilling and countersinking to avoid chipping and cracking.

 

3.Shape

We produce various shapes, including blocks, cylinders, discs, rings, arcs, segments, horseshoe magnets and special-shaped parts. Complex profiles for high-temperature instruments, sensors and acoustic equipment can be customized according to drawings.

 

4.Surface Treatment

Alnico has excellent inherent corrosion resistance; coating is usually unnecessary.

Common options: Passivation, Ni plating, Epoxy coating.

 

5.Magnetization Direction

Supports axial and diametral magnetization only.

Multi-pole magnetization is not recommended due to low coercivity and easy demagnetization.
