Good machinability, can be formed into complex shapes

Samarium Cobalt (SmCo)

A high-performance rare-earth magnet focused on extreme environments.
Outstanding temperature stability and high working temperature
Excellent corrosion resistance, rarely needs surface coating
Brittle and more expensive than NdFeB
Typical applications: aerospace, high-temperature motors, precision instruments

NdFeB(Neodymium)

The strongest commercial permanent magnet available today.
High magnetic strength, excellent magnetic performance per unit volume
Cost-effective, widely used in modern industries
Lower temperature resistance; requires coating to prevent corrosion
Typical applications: motors, sensors, hard disk drives, speakers, wind turbines
